- Use archived sessions for completed work instead of deleting useful references.
Capture the source, not just the conclusion
Saving the exact snippet matters because context usually lives in the wording around it.
- Store the original answer, not only your paraphrase.
- Tag snippets by theme so you can pull them back into a prompt later.
- Add a quick note when the snippet changes your direction or contradicts another source.
Review before you export
A short synthesis step prevents messy notes from becoming a messy final prompt.
- Review what you captured and remove duplicates.
- Mark unresolved disagreements before exporting.
- Generate a prompt or brief only after the research thread has enough evidence.
